August - dotOS v5.1.3 Release

DotOS 5.1.3: Continuing the preparation of the 5.2 release! 🏗️

Hello there, we are back again with the August release, we are working hard on 5.2 release with new features and improvements. We want to do clarify that 5.2 is going to be big release, so we are focusing more on this upcoming release. Before 5.2 release, we addressed issues with low & high severity that we missed before and added some new features.

You may have noticed the work we have done so far, if not please go through our Twitter account.

We are very pleased to announce a new addition to our DotOS Team. Maja (ririxi) will be our backend developer working on optimizing our website to reach millions of users. We warmly welcome her to our Team.

What's new with this release?:

System and Customizations

August Security patches (Android11 r40).
Fixed OTA incompatibility while trying to install a new update via SystemUpdates.
Fixed SystemUI crash when device is in landscape.
Removed colored statusbar icons.
Added new APNs.

System Updates

All official devices will get OTA through SystemUpdater, so be patient ;)
We recommend installing this apk for receiving 5.1.3 Update though our SystemUpdates - which fixes OTA compatiblity issues. Download this hotfix by clicking here
